Does sugar cause diabetes?
Many of the people who are unaware of the diabetes condition believe that eating sugar cause diabetes.
In fact, when I got diagnosed with diabetes, some of my relatives blamed me for eating too much of sugar and they believe that my sugar consumption was the cause of the problem.

It is better for diabetics, to reduce or completely eliminate eating sugar.
One thing you need to understand that carbohydrates are present in all kinds of foods like vegetables, fruits etc.
So take natural carbohydrates from these vegetables which is pure and in small amounts rather than eating biscuits or bakery items which are full of artificial sugars.

It is better for humans to stay away from foods which are rich in sugar or carbohydrates.
Sugar is a type of food which will only cause harm to the body.
Apart from the development of Type 2 diabetes, overconsumption of sugar leads to an increase in body weight which leads to the development of another set of problems like heart disease, obesity, memory loss etc.
How to find foods which are low in carbohydrates
Remember this general rule that all the green vegetables are low in carbohydrates.
Apart from that, you can also include non-vegetarian items in your diet as they have low sugar content.
Try to stay away from foods like grains, processed foods, sweets, chocolates etc.

How much carbohydrates one should eat.
I think for a diabetic, limiting yourself to 20-25 grams per meal will be good for better management of your blood sugar.
A typical normal person with his regular diet usually consumes around 100 grams of carbs per meal, which is too much for your body to handle and thus cause an increase in obesity rate all over the world.
Curbing sugar intake can save you from a lot of trouble and you will be able to live a healthy and fit life.

Yes and No.
Sugar is one of the cause for the development of type 2 diabetes but for Type 1 it does not have any role to play as Type 1 is an autoimmune disorder.
